“I have been tested, tasked, and taught, and this year has been tough, but there is nowhere I would have rather been. TandemEDU has given me an opportunity of a lifetime. A chance to do college and high school with support and peers. Our facilitators for our college classes help us communicate to the professor, study for quizzes, and exams, and develop a stronger work ethic that is molded to each classes’ needs. On the other hand, our Tandem high school instructors assist us in our classes needed to gain a high school education. In doing so, they further the limits of our knowledge, creating the foundation necessary to continue in college classes. We also have study groups and get-togethers. Fellow students meet at some local restaurants and/or libraries to study and have a good time. When we had a speech for a college course a while back, nearly all of TandemEDU got together to practice and record our speeches. TandemEDU has been a real blessing in my education, and I look forward to coming back again next year.”
