Admission Process

Working with Toccoa Falls College, we have streamlined the registration process for both the college, the parent and TandemEDU. After you complete our online registration process, your student will automatically be registered for TandemEDU classes and Toccoa Falls College. The college is not requiring a separate application, transcript or application fee. The only additional paperwork is the dual enrollment application which is completed online through Georgia Futures.  We process all documents necessary to initiate state funding. Funds for tuition, books, and mandatory fees will be sent directly to Toccoa Falls College.

Placement Process

In order to place into the first college course, students must score in the 70-75th percentile on the English and Math sections of the Iowa Test of Educational Development which is administered by TandemEDU in October. Not sure your student meets this standard? Ask us about summer test prep and tutoring. The TandemEDU high school English and Algebra courses are designed to prepare students for the rigors of dual enrollment. All students are required to take TandemEDU English 10 or test out of this course. All students must take Algebra I and Algebra II through TandemEDU or test out of these classes. Placement tests for English and Algebra are administered after enrollment.

We do offer eligible students the opportunity to transfer classes into TandemEDU; however, because of our accreditation, all courses must be validated.
